Did Celine Dion’s Titanic swag wow the crowd at Paris Fashion Week?

French-Canadian songstress dressed up her T-shirt and shorts look with a version of the Heart of the Ocean blue sapphire and diamond necklace
Celine Dion was spotted out and about during Paris Fashion Week on July 3 with some iconic bling around her neck.
The singer of Titanic theme song My Heart Will Go On dressed up her T-shirt and shorts look with a version of the Heart of the Ocean blue sapphire and diamond necklace.
You’d be disappointed to know that she didn’t rumble through the wreckage of the Titanic to fetch this look; it’s hot off Vetements’ runway last week.
The diva has been making headlines with her fashion choices in recent years, successfully transitioning from sold-out Vegas act to fashion icon.
Dion paired the costume necklace with an “I Heart Paris Hilton” T-shirt and blazer, also from Vetements.
The last time Dion wore a version of the Heart of the Ocean was to the 1998 Oscars, where My Heart Will Go On won Best Original Song. She walked the red carpet and performed the song wearing a piece created by British jewellers Asprey & Garrard (now known as Asprey) that featured a 171-carat sapphire pendant on a diamond necklace. The necklace sold for US$1.4 million at auction, with the proceeds going to charity.
This is not the first time Dion has been seen wearing Titanic swag. She was spotted in a sweatshirt, also by Vetements, printed with the faces of Jack, Rose and a sinking Titanic.
