While common folk worry about which bouquets to buy and where to enjoy brunch with our mums on Mother’s Day, the A-listers and those featured in Forbes can buy anything under the sun for their mums or mother of their children. We look at how the rich and famous spoil the most important women in their lives, and while there are a few mansions on the list there are also some thoughtful gestures.
Rihanna
RiRi is known to take no hostages on social media and she has never been afraid to show affection for her momma either. She revealed in a 2012 interview with Oprah that she bought her mum a five-bedroom house in their native Barbados. Something she said she had, “Wanted to do for a very long time”.
Beyoncé
It‘s no surprise that Queen Bey is also the queen of gift giving. She bought her mum, Tina Knowles, a US$5.9 million mansion in Houston for Mother’s Day in 2013.
