WHY: The Intensa Emozione, which means “intense emotion” in Italian, is the latest flagship hypercar from supercar manufacturer Apollo Automobil. Only 10 cars will be produced.

The hypercar features a lightweight and aerodynamically efficient full carbon-fibre chassis, which weighs only 105kg including the front and rear subframes.

Its bold and striking body is inspired by the design of tactile fighter jets as well as the shape of sharks and raptors, featuring a narrow teardrop-shaped widescreen, shark-like nose, side aero fins and large angled wing mounts. On the rear, the entire design is accentuated by the brand’s signature trident exhaust.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine, it delivers over 780hp and 760Nm of torque, revs to 9,000rpm, with a maximum speed of 335 km/h. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.

The car also features bespoke carbon fibre front crash structures used by Formula One cars, Formula One-inspired double wishbone with full push-rod and rocker arm architecture on the front and rear, and new Brembo carbon ceramic discs for the brake system.

The inside is equipped with a racing-type steering wheel in carbon fibre, with leather hand grabs. The seats, also made of carbon fibre, have padded seating. Standard racing seats are available.
