Where was Dom Dolla born and raised?

Dom Dolla, 32, was born in Manila and raised in the north Australian outback, per his Last.fm biography. His love for dance music began during a holiday in Denpasar, Indonesia, where his mum introduced him to Basement Jaxx’s 2001 album Rooty.

He later moved to Melbourne and began organising pub discos and deejaying on weekends with friends from high school. In an interview with Remix Magazine, he shared that he used to work as a graphic designer during the week and had even started his own freelance design firm.
By 2015, fuelled by his deep passion for music and production, he decided to quit his day job and pursue a full-time career in music.
