The 60-foot-long cruiser, which can accommodate up to 15 hotel guests on deck, provides daily US$180 ‘sunset’ cruises and is also available for private use

First, it brought a fleet of 14 Peninsula Green Rolls-Royce Phantoms to the streets of Hong Kong.

Then it took to the skies with a customised helicopter.

Now The Peninsula Hong Kong has decided to conquer the seas by launching a brand new yacht, making it the first luxury hotel group in the city to offer three different forms of transport for its guests.

Its new vessel is a 19-metre (60-foot) Sunseeker Manhattan 60 cruiser, which contains a bedroom, large lounge area, outer lower deck and a cosy upper deck, which can accommodate up to 15 passengers.

Available to all hotel guests, The Peninsula Hong Kong is offering a two-hour “Harbour Sunset Cruise” on the cruiser with canapés and drinks from 6.30pm to 8.30pm each evening, priced at HK$1,400 (US$180) for adults and HK$600 for children.

The sunset cruise will take passengers around Victoria Harbour, and will specially feature the classic Hong Kong light show – the “Symphony of Lights” – along with music synchronised with the yacht’s sound system.
