Hong Kong action star Celina Jade has been on everyone’s radar since she starred in the mainland box-office hit Wolf Warrior 2 which grossed 5.68 billion yuan (HK$6.1 billion).
As she is about to celebrate her 35th birthday on June 10, here are five things to know about the actress.
1. Married Super Junior’s Han Geng
Super Junior’s Han Geng and Celina Jade tied the knot in December 2019. The ceremony took place in Auckland, New Zealand.
The couple’s happy marriage was revealed to the public through Han Geng’s Weibo post with the caption, “Hello, my love”.
2. Her father taught her martial arts, archery and shooting
Celina’s father is American actor and martial artist Roy Horan. Thanks to her family’s background, she was taught archery, martial arts and shooting at a young age. In an interview with Variety, she revealed that her father often said, “I don’t want you to think of yourself as lower than a man. I don’t want you to ever feel that you’re not smart enough or good enough to talk to somebody who’s more experienced than you.”
3. She was a rebellious teenager
