Here are five Filipino fashionistas that take their style to Paris and beyond at fashion and couture weeks.
Heart Evangelista
Accomplished painter, actress and YouTube content creator, Heart Evangelita is no stranger to the world of fashion. Born into the family that owns the Barrio Fiesta restaurant chain in the Philippines, Heart began her acting and modelling career aged 13. She married Sorsogon governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero in 2015. She is known to grace the Paris fashion shows of Elie Saab and Hermes.
She has held solo art exhibitions locally and internationally, and is known for her hand-painted bags. She runs a foundation called “Heart Can” that helps children suffering from respiratory diseases. Heart is also a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and spokeswoman for the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

Fashion and travel blogger Laureen Uy shares her style expressions on YouTube and her blog, Break My Style. She loves sharing thrift shopping tips with her fans, and boasts shoes from Alexander Wang and Gucci in her massive collection.
