The Bombshell star is the face of Chanel’s new fragrance campaign, which features music by Beyoncé and photography by Nick Knight

Looking for a fresh new fragrance for spring and summer? If you love Chanel No. 5, the new Gabrielle Chanel Essence offers an even more floral distinction, with Margot Robbie as its ambassador.

The Academy Award-nominated actress was appointed late last year as the face of the new Chanel fragrance. For the campaign, acclaimed photographer Nick Knight shot the Birds of Prey star against a backdrop of sheer white and gold veils with music by Beyoncé, visually representing the fragrance of a radiant woman who speaks her mind.

For a house that launches fragrances about once a decade, the arrival of Gabrielle Chanel is no small feat. The Gabrielle Chanel fragrance is the creation of French perfumer Olivier Polge, who wanted to come up with a truly floral scent for the house.

Polge reflects the maverick personality and tastes of Mademoiselle Chanel through a bouquet of white flowers the eponymous founder loved: ylang-ylang, jasmine, orange blossom and the prominent presence of creamy tuberose. (As a friendly comparison, Chanel No. 5 is made up of ylang-ylang and jasmine floral notes.)
