Ha Seok-jin in Crash Landing on You, plus 2 more of K-drama’s most dashing supporting men in uniform

Jin Goo as Wolf in Descendants of the Sun, and Jo Jung-souk as the prince’s loyal friend and royal guard in The King 2 Hearts, are also on our radar
In K-drama land, the leads aren’t the only stars – one cannot help but “ship” the second couple, or give the protagonist’s right hand man a second glance. While their roles are secondary, these supporting actors cannot help but get noticed, too. Here are the top three on our radar.
1. Ha Seok-jin as Ri Moo-hyuk, the older brother of Ri Jeong-hyuk, in Crash Landing on You
He is the reliable son who becomes a soldier to please his father, so that his younger brother, Jeong-hyuk, can focus on playing the piano. He often tells his comrades how proud he is of his brother’s career and simply thinking of Jeong-hyuk makes him happy.
While Seok-jin only makes a special appearance in the drama, and his character is only seen in flashbacks, Moo-hyuk’s role remains pivotal and adds charisma to the plot.
Debuting in a Korean Air commercial, actor Ha Seok-jin has an unusual background. He studied mechanical engineering at Hanyang University on a scholarship that is restricted to the top 10 per cent of students. Often nicknamed “smart and sexy” or “intelligent”, Ha is one of six celebrities in the variety show Problematic Men, where the cast are referred to as “men with sexy brains”.
While guesting at MBC’s Radio Star in 2018, the actor said that people called him a “kiss master” and upon searching “Ha Seok-jin kiss scene” on YouTube, he found that his videos had 20 million views, which became popular for his scenes with Jeon So-min in Something about 1 Percent.
2. Jin Goo as ‘Wolf’ or Master Sergeant Seo Dae-young in Descendants of the Sun (2016)
