Why Lamborghini made its virtual vision real with the futuristic Lambo V12 Vision GT

- The Gran Turismo newcomer will use the same 6.5-litre V12 hybrid power train as the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37
The world finals of the 2019 FIA Gran Turismo Championships in Monaco were the setting for Automobili Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali to unveil a futuristic new concept car.
Domenicali presented a mock-up of the Lambo V12 Vision GT, saying: “Lamborghini is a very young brand, and this is why we are here today to present our newest virtual vision in the form of a real model, with a highly futuristic and cool design to be enjoyed by the young generation of racing game and super sports car enthusiasts”. Although the car will only be race-ready on the Gran Turismo virtual game, its aerodynamic design, focus on future technologies and use of lightweight materials all showcase Lamborghini’s taste for pushing the boundaries.

The Lambo V12 Vision GT has a single seater set-up, which is perfect for the racing game. Also, quite dramatically, racers enter the cabin like jet-fighter pilots enter a cockpit – via the front of the car. As for engine specs, the Gran Turismo newcomer will use the same 6.5-litre V12 hybrid power train as the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.
