We love Lucy Liu: new Netflix film ‘Set it Up’ reminds us why
American Chinese actress, admired for her stylish dress sense, acting versatility and sense of humour, excels in latest role as a tough-love, no-nonsense boss
After watching Netflix’s new comedy romance film, Set It Up, we were reminded of all the reasons why Chinese American actress Lucy Liu will always be our biggest #WomanCrush.
She was a fantastic Charlie’s Angel. An Asian female kicking butt and solving crime? There is no way to not love her.
Her voice is also versatile and so pleasant to the ear. In Set It Up, her role was as a tough-love, no-nonsense boss, Kirsten, and her voice showed it. She has also voiced the character of Viper in the Kung Fu Panda films.
Liu is a fantastic mother, and she is not afraid to have fun discussing her son’s name – Rockwell Lloyd.
