Style Edit: Rolex debuts Land-Dweller, Settimo bracelet for Perpetual 1908 and dial for GMT-Master II, and drops new colours for Perpetual, Datejust 31, Daytona, GMT-Master II and Sky-Dweller

The Land-Dweller is here thanks to 32 new patents, with a new case, bracelet, bezel, dial and movement – the calibre 7135 and Dynapulse escapement
Rolex is always the most anticipated watch launch of the year, with speculation about novelties running wild weeks before any official announcement. This year is no different. The biggest flex? The all-new Land-Dweller. Rumours had been swirling for weeks, with leaks teasing a fresh trademarked name, but nothing confirmed. Then, tennis legend Roger Federer casually shattered the suspense with an Instagram post. A ski trip snap, a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, and boom – there it was, the Land-Dweller on his wrist.

Officially unveiled at Watches & Wonders, the Land-Dweller is an absolute game-changer. New case. New bracelet. New bezel. New dial. New movement. And a jaw-dropping 32 new patents. Rolex isn’t playing around. The watch debuts the calibre 7135, introducing the Dynapulse escapement – Rolex’s first-ever dual impulse escapement, pushing mechanical efficiency to the next level. Available in two sizes (36mm and 40mm), it comes in white Rolesor, Everose (with or without diamonds), and platinum (also with or without diamonds). This is a serious contender for the most hyped Rolex of the decade.

Not to be outdone, the Perpetual 1908 gets a slick upgrade with the Settimo bracelet. This seven-link bracelet is a first for Rolex, bringing a sophisticated touch to an already dapper dress watch. The watch still runs on calibre 7140, its beauty on full display through a sapphire case back.

Then there’s the GMT-Master II, this time in full-on luxury mode. Now cased in white gold, it features a first-for-the-brand hi-tech ceramic dial. It’s Rolex flexing its material innovation in the most elite way possible.

If colour is your thing, Rolex just delivered in spades. The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 is turning heads with a stunning red ombré dial, surrounded by a halo of diamonds. Meanwhile, the Oyster Perpetual collection embraces a fresh pastel palette – lavender, beige, and pistachio – finished with an elegant matt texture.

For sports watch lovers, Rolex went all out. The Daytona now comes in yellow gold with an ultra-luxe Oysterflex bracelet, black Cerachrom bezel, and a striking turquoise blue dial with contrasting black counters. The new GMT-Master II in Everose gold surprises with a dial made of tiger iron – a blend of tiger’s eye, red jasper and hematite, giving it a mesmerising depth. And to round it all off, the Sky-Dweller shines in 18k yellow gold with a vivid green dial, paired with a Jubilee bracelet.
