‘Dare to Dive into Tudor’s Underwater World’ celebrated the luxury brand’s more than 60-year heritage in time-only and tool watches for diving applications

Tudor’s legacy of divers’ watches dates back to 1954 when the brand introduced the reference 7922 Oyster Prince Submariner, one of the most iconic 20th century timepieces. From then on, and from time-only versions to high performance tool watches, Tudor has been offering a range of divers’ watches to suit different needs.

To mark its six decades-long history as a dive watch specialist, the brand recently hosted “Dare to Dive into Tudor’s Underwater World” in Hong Kong. In tune with the brand’s heritage, the event presented a range of interactive zones or “reefs” built around an underwater theme.

The Historical Diver reef gave the guests an opportunity to deep dive into Tudor’s history through an exhibition of special divers’ watches and advertising campaigns that traced the evolution of their various collections over the years.

Another reef was dedicated to the Black Bay range, inspired by several historical models from the late 1960s. Perhaps most interesting of all was the reef built around the Pelagos line, Tudor’s hugely popular tool watch used by professional divers.
