  • The Persona and Hotel del Luna K-drama star is famous for charity donations and showering gifts on famous friends Ji-yeon and Yoo In-na, but also treats herself
  • She models local brand J. Estina as well as Gucci and has property in Seoul’s Raemian Caelitus and Gwacheon, where she likes to hang out and order delivery food

Like K-pop’s very own Santa Claus, IU is famous for showering gifts on her fans, friends, family and people in need. But when fans tried to do the same in return, she urged them not to, once posting on her fan club website “let me feel the joy of buying things that I want for myself”.
With an estimated net worth of US$28 million, IU has plenty to spend and though she doesn’t often flaunt her wealth, when she does, she goes all in. From her collection of fancy microphones to her lavish flat, we look at what IU likes to splurge on for herself.

When you watch her on stage, you’ll notice how IU likes to match her mics to her outfit and the song’s mood. She even collects custom-made mics, already having been spotted with at least 12 in different colours and designs.

At a November 2019 concert, she showed off a microphone in glossy black engraved with her nickname, saying that she finally had her dream mic – her tenth at that point.

Her newest model is a matching mic and in-ear monitor that she received as a gift from J. Estina, a jewellery brand that she models for.
