Taylor Swift’s MTV VMAs fashion transformation: the pop princess took a break from her Eras Tour to pick up nine awards, changing out of a daring Versace gown into a Y2K-core denim mini dress

Swift first stepped onto the pink carpet in Newark, New Jersey wearing a custom Versace gown embellished with the fashion house’s signature gold hardware.
The asymmetrical garment had a form-fitting bodice, floor-length skirt and thigh-high slit that revealed her black sandals. She wore it with sharp black eyeliner, gold nail polish and sparkling jewellery worth tens of thousands of dollars.
But by the end of the show, Swift changed into a sleeveless mini dress made of denim. The blue outfit, which she also wore to Diddy’s after-party, had a corseted bodice and raw-hem skirt, both in varying shades of blue.
She wore the EB Denim piece that retails for US$480 with silver sandals, a metallic purse, her signature red lip, and some of the same accessories she donned at the VMAs.
Swift’s jewellery included a US$32,000 choker from Anita Ko, vintage necklaces from Joseph Saidian and Sons, a US$15,000 ring from Van Cleef and Arpels, and multiple rings and bracelets.
