Paris Fashion Week: Haute Couture

With Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2018 Week over, we pick four top beauty looks of Christian Dior, Chanel, Maison Margiela and Iris Van Herpen

Now that the Paris Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2018 Week is over, STYLE magazine has selected its four favourite beauty looks from Christian Dior, Chanel, Maison Margiela and Iris van Herpen.

1. Christian Dior: the Surrealist

Christian Dior’s Belgian make-up artist Peter Philips created a fabulously bold and powerful look for the models at Dior’s show.

He applied exaggerated, spiky lash-like lines along their upper and lower eyelids and then filled in the space between the two “wings” on each side with a beige pencil.

The use of these extreme strokes with eyeliner enhanced Dior’s look during the runway show.

2. Chanel: the pink lady

The ever-gorgeous model Kaia Gerber stunned audiences with her popping-pink lipstick and tousled ponytail at the French fashion brand’s Haute Couture show.

Her bridal-inspired floral headpiece and the crystal-adorned black veil let the bright glossy pink lip hue do all the talking.

3. Maison Margiela: the futuristic traveller
