Amid all the hullabaloo, one cast member has managed to remain relatively distant from the spotlight – Andrew Burnap, who plays Snow White’s love interest, Jonathan. Burnap was also noticeably missing from the movie’s LA premiere.
Taking to Instagram, the star explained that he was unable to attend the event because he was starring in Othello on Broadway, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington.

According to his IMDB page, Andrew Burnap hails from South Kingstown, Rhode Island. From a young age he had a liking for performance. In a 2022 interview with the University of Rhode Island Magazine, his mother, Allison, recalled him going “into a trance” while listening to Christmas songs when he was a boy of five or six. “That Christmas he asked for a top hat and cane,” she said. Burnap himself told Cultured magazine he had an active childhood and played tennis competitively.
