Meet the family of Donald Trump’s ‘border tsar’, Tom Homan – and what did his wife, a former American Airlines flight attendant, say about the ex-Fox News contributor returning to work for ICE?

As he faces criticism, including from Pope Francis, for spearheading the mass deportation of illegal immigrants, Homan finds the spotlight turning on his low-profile family

Homan also emphasised ICE’s modus operandi for securing “public safety”, telling presenter Lawrence Jones: “We’ll find the bad guy, but when we find him, he’s going to be with others, others that may not be a criminal priority. But guess what? If they’re in the United States illegally, they’re going to be arrested, too.” He went on to claim they were “concentrating on the worst first” and warned far-left officials opposing the operation with two words: “Game on”.
Homan’s border policy has since been heavily criticised, with even Pope Francis stepping in to condemn it in a letter to US bishops, per the Associated Press. “What is built on the basis of force, and not on the truth about the equal dignity of every human being, begins badly and will end badly,” he wrote. In response, Homan quipped, “I wish he’d stick to the Catholic Church and fix that and leave border enforcement to us,” reported The Tablet. “He’s got a wall around the Vatican, does he not?” the 63-year-old Catholic added.

Meanwhile, Homan’s wife is thrilled about his going back to work, as he told Donald Trump Jr on his web show, Rumble. So just who is the border tsar’s wife – and what do we know about his family?
How did Tom Homan meet his wife?

According to the County Office YouTube channel, Homan met his wife Elizabeth when they were young. They apparently fell in love during their high-school years and have been together since. Having seemingly said their “I do’s” in 1980, the couple have spent more than 40 years together. They are said to have four children.
