The heartbreaking murder of influencer Gabby Petito is back in the spotlight since the release of a new Netflix documentary about the case.
Petito, who was an aspiring van life vlogger, was murdered by her fiancé Brian Laundrie in August 2021. Laundrie’s body – along with a confession note – was found 37 days after he was reported missing, according to Time.
Interviews with Petito’s family, friends and witnesses from the case are featured in the production. Laundrie’s family – who reportedly did not help with the investigation – are once more being scrutinised by netizens.
