He’s a manager in the music industry

Rowland and her husband are both in the entertainment industry, but on different sides. Unlike the singer and actress, he handles the business and management side of things. According to People, he worked with Destiny’s Child in the noughties and later became Rowland’s manager after they got married. Rumour has it, he convinced her to fire her former manager, Devyne Stephens, supposedly because he was jealous of his proximity to her.

The couple ended their professional relationship in 2020, but she told People: “He is so talented, and he just really pushes me to always be the best version of myself, and I’m so grateful for that.” These days, Weatherspoon can be seen in Instagram rubbing shoulders with Jay-Z and other celebrities at big events.
