Who are Lily Allen’s famous parents, Keith Allen and Alison Owen? Her dad acted in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, while her mum produced Shaun of the Dead and the Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black
Amid rumours that Lily Allen and David Harbour are splitting up, the singer says she’s ‘spiralling’; in the past she’s attributed her mental health struggles to her parents – so who are they?
“I’m finding it hard to be interested in anything,” she said in an episode of her Miss Me? podcast with co-host Miquita Oliver on January 9 while they were on the topic of the Golden Globes. “I’m really not in a good place,” she added. “I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiralling and spiralling and spiralling and it’s got out of control.”
She explained that she was planning on taking a break, including from hosting the podcast. “What I do want to reassure people because there will be speculation because of the amount of time that I’m going to be taking away that I’m going to drug rehab – I’m not,” she said. “I’ve not relapsed. I know there have been some horrible blind items on the internet about me being found by my husband in a crack den being surrounded by men. I don’t know who’s spreading these vicious rumours but that’s not true.”
Here’s what we know about her parents amid the news.
