The 27-year-old “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” singer confirmed the joyous news via an Instagram post shared on January 1. “I’m a rock star mommy. We ready for 2025,” she wrote alongside a carousel of photos of her and her baby bump.

Her soon-to-be baby daddy, 25-year-old Trippie Redd, also expressed his enthusiasm by posting a pic of her belly on his Instagram.

Leray and Redd have had their ups and downs over the years, however.

Where is Trippie Redd from?

Trippie Redd, real name Michael Lamar White IV, hails from Canton, Ohio – the same city as Marilyn Manson, per Complex.

“I grew up on a street called 14th Street,” he told Pigeons & Planes. “I have a real spiritual family. My grandma that stay on that street is real spiritual, too.” He ended up moving to Atlanta, where he signed with Strainge Entertainment (latterly known as 10K Projects), notes Forbes. 10K was co-founded by Elliot Grainge, the husband of Lionel Richie’s daughter, Sofia Richie.
Why is Trippie Redd famous?

Redd first came onto the scene in 2017, when SoundCloud rap was making waves in the music world, per Rolling Stone. “The time and space we were in, at that era, was one of the best eras in music,” Trippie told the publication. “Everyone was more open and trying to be pure. There was an open space to be creative in the music industry. Now, people are more like business partners.” Some of his most popular songs include “F*** Love”, “Hurts Me” and “Miss the Rage”.
In an interview with The Real After Party, he says that he is not an emo rapper, despite many critics labelling him as one. “I’m not emo. I’ve never been emo,” he said. Redd has collaborated with artists including Travis Scott, Drake, Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert and Future.
Who does Trippie Redd have beef with?

Redd has found himself embroiled in numerous feuds with fellow rappers over the years. In November 2023, Meek Mill took to Instagram to call him out. “This guy no good!! I ain’t even know you said my name … if you f*** with me, f*** this guy right here,” Mill wrote over a picture of Redd’s face, per The US Sun.

Redd also has ongoing beef with his former collaborator 6ix9ine, per Complex.
What is Trippie Redd’s net worth?

The rapper has built an impressive fortune since joining the music world.

He is thought to be worth around US$5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. In 2019, Redd approached Celebrity Net Worth to claim that his net worth is actually US$16 million, but didn’t provide enough evidence to support the statement, the page notes.
When did Trippie Redd and Coi Leray get back together?

Redd and Leray had a history before they got back together in 2024. They initially dated in 2019, but when they split up, Redd released a track called “Leray” which referenced their relationship. The lyrics included: “When you got with me, you were a genius. Now without me you have to live life as an idiot.”

The “Twinnem” rapper responded to the dis track during her appearance on the No Jumper podcast in 2020. “At first, no, I didn’t like it. It was very like, what the f***, because I always thought we really had something outside of the music,” she said. “So I’m just like, damn. If you got something to say, let’s get together and you say that s*** to my face … I felt like I’m being used for clickbait.”
In August 2024, the duo reignited their romance publicly by showcasing some serious PDA at a concert, per The Independent. A month later, Redd confirmed to TMZ that the pair were back together.
