Members of Jerry Jones’ family – including his adult son, daughter and grandson Shy Anderson Jr – were injured in a car accident ahead of a Dallas Cowboys game on October 27

Members of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ family were injured in a car accident outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday night, according to the New York Post.

Per the outlet, the incident took place ahead of the evening’s Dallas Cowboys’ match-up with the San Francisco 49ers. Jerry’s daughter Charlotte, his son Jerry Jones Jr, and Charlotte’s son Shy Anderson Jr were all reportedly in the vehicle. The family told The Athletic that Charlotte may have suffered a rib injury from the accident, while Jerry Jr was suffering from a head injury.

Jerry and his wife of six decades Eugenia Jones share three children together. They have two sons, Stephen and Jerry Jr, and one daughter, Charlotte. Stephen was born in 1964 in Danville, Arkansas, and was raised in the city of Little Rock long before his family got into the business of American football, per People magazine. Jerry and Eugenia’s only daughter, Charlotte, was born in Missouri in 1966, while Jerry Jr joined the Jones clan in 1969.

They all have impressive educational backgrounds

All three siblings attended noteworthy universities. Per People magazine, Stephen was offered an American football scholarship at Princeton but ultimately chose to go to the University of Arkansas. Charlotte, meanwhile, was accepted into Stanford University, graduating in 1988 with a degree in human biology. Jerry Jr studied at Georgetown University and then went on to obtain a law degree from the Southern Methodist University, per the same source.

Stephen, Charlotte and Jerry Jr have followed in their father’s footsteps and joined the family business. According to the Dallas Cowboys’ website, Charlotte works as the company’s chief brand officer; Jerry Jr is a chief sales and marketing officer; and Stephen serves as chief operating officer. They are all co-owners. Charlotte is also the president of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, per People magazine.
