Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, has clearly made a decision to put her children before any duty to her famous father.

Despite Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner both previously working in the former president’s administration, they’ve been largely absent from Donald Trump’s election campaign this year.

The family divide appears to go beyond politics too, as Ivanka took her daughter Arabella and her friends to Taylor Swift’s recent concert in Miami, despite the former president declaring “I hate Taylor Swift!” on Truth Social in September after the billionaire songstress famously came out in support of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. Swift called Harris a “steady-handed, gifted leader” who “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them”.

Her grandfather may have beef with the singer, but young Arabella Kushner is a certified Swiftie – she even had a “Blank Space” themed birthday cake for her 13th birthday in July.

The former US first daughter shares three children with her husband Jared Kushner – Arabella Rose, Joseph Frederick and Theodore James, aka Theo. Arabella is the firstborn and is followed by Joseph, 11, and Theo, 8. Ivanka has talked honestly in the past about her belief in prioritising family time and discipline.

Trump has encouraged Arabella to learn piano, ballet and Mandarin since she was a child. In a recent birthday post dedicated to her eldest daughter, Ivanka shared that her 13-year-old is now a singer and equestrian and also does Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
