A resurfaced clip of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs inviting a then-12-year-old actress to one of his parties is raising eyebrows as the rapper and businessman awaits trial on charges of sex trafficking

A resurfaced clip of Sean “Diddy” Combs inviting a then-12-year-old actress to one of his parties is raising eyebrows as the music mogul faces multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against minors.

In the disturbing video, the rapper, then 33, is seen chatting to The Ring actress Daveigh Chase and asks if she’s “coming to the after-party tonight” as he holds a drink near his mouth, while backstage at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards. The child then nods, to which Diddy replies with a cackle and yells, “Yeah!”

It’s unclear whether Chase attended the party or not. According to Page Six, Combs and the girl seemingly met earlier in the night when he and a then-25-year-old Ashton Kutcher presented her with the Best Villain award for her role as Samara in the horror film The Ring.

The news comes after another video resurfaced last month, showing Combs introducing his “adopted daughter”, 11-year-old Ava Baroni, in 2020. TMZ later confirmed that Combs never adopted the child and that the clip was a joke.
Combs was arrested last month and has since been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. His legal troubles continue to mount as more accusers come forward. This week, seven new lawsuits were filed against the music mogul, with the youngest plaintiff being 13 at the time of the alleged assault, per the BBC. The case alleges that Combs and another male celebrity raped the unnamed teenager at an after-party for the 2000 VMAs.
