Meet Candace Owens’ husband, George Farmer: he’s the devout Christian founder of the controversial Parler app, and his dad sits on the UK’s House of Lords

Candace Owens’ antisemitic remarks forced her British father-in-law to take to X to make his own position clear – so who is the man they both have in common, George Farmer?
And while her husband George Farmer has maintained a relatively low profile in comparison, he is no stranger to being in the public eye either. Farmer grew up in the lap of luxury, as his father is a well-known British businessman and Conservative peer.

Here’s what else you need to know about George Farmer.
Who are George Farmer’s parents?

George Farmer’s father is Lord Michael Farmer, “one of the world’s most famous metals traders”, according to Reuters. Per the same source, he also became a member of the House of Lords in 2014, the second chamber of UK Parliament.
Worth hundreds of millions and nicknamed “Mr Copper”, Lord Michael is the founding partner of the Red Kite Group, a metals hedge fund, per the Financial Times. The wealthy businessman recently made headlines after he publicly distanced himself from his daughter in-law’s controversial comments about Jewish people.
Per the New York Post, Lord Farmer posted a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) saying he felt obliged to comment on Israel’s military operation in Gaza after Owens continued to reiterate her controversial statements.
