The budding actress stole the show in the hit film, and is making waves on the international fashion scene – but she’s also studying dentistry, and spends time with her actor brother

The global buzz surrounding Thai sleeper hit film, How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies – released earlier this year – has generally centred around its poignancy and reminders about what’s important in life.

The film boasted the biggest opening weekend at the Thai box office when it released in the country in April, and has been a hit across Southeast Asia and on TikTok, too. Audience members posted videos of their before-and-after reactions on the social media platform, often coming out the theatre with tears streaming down their face.

One user took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their experience: “About to watch How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies. Why are they giving out tissues?”

But one character in particular has caught the attention of cinema-goers. Mui, played by actress Tontawan Tantivejakul, seems to be stealing hearts around the world. Tontawan Tantivejakul, also known as Tu Tontawan, 23, is a Thai actress and model.

Tantivejakul seems to be quite the fashionista and has taken Thailand’s fashion scene by storm. She has attended Paris Fashion Week and her Instagram is full of photos of the actress sporting must-have items from brands like Prada, Gucci and Bulgari.
As one of Dior’s ambassadors, Tantivejakul is rarely seen without donning a piece of the house’s latest apparel, from chic saddle bags to the iconic “CD” earrings.
