According to US media, Munn has long been rumoured to be the reason behind her ex Aaron Rodgers’ feud with his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers. Munn and the NFL quarterback dated from 2014 to 2017, per Us Weekly.

Now his parents have decided to speak out against the actress. “She just made stuff up to make herself look good,” Ed reportedly says in American sportswriter Ian O’Connor’s upcoming book, Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers, per the New York Post. “She said the family was dysfunctional before she met Aaron, which is bull. We were going to all of his games; we were staying at his house. We had a great relationship. Nothing bad was going on.”

“I can think about showbiz families that, like the Kardashians, climb all over each other for fame and stuff like that. But that’s not our family. Nobody did that,” added Darla, as reported by the New York Post, who O’Connor used to write for.

According to the same outlet, Aaron’s dad Ed Rodgers works as a chiropractor and is a former college American football offensive lineman. Aaron’s mum Darla is a former part-time reporter for the Chico Enterprise-Record, notes Sportskeeda.

The NFL star’s rift with his family – including his parents and brothers Jordan and Luke – dates back to 2014, according to People. However, their problems only surfaced publicly in 2016, when Jordan confessed on an episode of The Bachelorette that Aaron had been estranged from the family.
