- After a misleading tweet by a UK tabloid implied that Sports Illustrated model and actress Brooklyn Decker was a fan of Donald Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance, the star took to Instagram to clarify
- Not only is the model-turned-entrepreneur a supporter of women-owned businesses, but she’s said she’s putting her money where her mouth is and donating to Kamala Harris’ campaign
In the X post, the newspaper wrote that the Just Go with It star had given “props” to Vance for “helping her understand her family on a deeper level”, hinting at an endorsement.
The actress then took to her Instagram Stories to explain that she had simply “read the book [Vance’s memoir Hillbilly Elegy] when it came out and found it to be very interesting”, per Cover Media. She added that the statement was made in 2020 for a Society Texas magazine interview and was being taken out of context to “support a candidate that they like”.
