On July 17, Kesha made it crystal clear to everyone that she was back on the dating market. The pop star was reportedly spotted in West Hollywood confidently flaunting a cardboard sign reading “I’m single” in all caps while running errands.
She was last romantically linked to film producer Riccardo Maddalosso, but apparently got “dumped for the first time” in October last year. The “Tik Tok” singer revealed on X (formerly Twitter) at the time that “I mostly want a sugar daddy. I just never had one” – which is why it makes total sense that the rumour mill buzzed after she was seen out and about not once, but twice, with entrepreneur Michael Gilvary.
The first sighting was on July 20, where the 37-year-old pop sensation enjoyed an evening out at the chic Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica. The duo was reportedly all smiles as they made their way to their car, with Gilvary gallantly opening the door for Kesha. She gave a cheeky thumbs-up to the paparazzi before they drove off together.
Only two days later, reports emerged that the duo was seen out and about again in Los Angeles. Apparently, the “Die Young” singer looked relaxed and happy while grocery shopping with the 44-year-old entrepreneur on Monday.
According to his LinkedIn page, Gilvary is an investor, entrepreneur and adviser with experience in healthcare, entertainment and consumer retail markets. He’s also the co-founder of health tech company AION – a pioneering company that led the advancements in wearable technology for patient care – and a professor at the Baruch School of Entrepreneurship, where he teaches entrepreneurship, strategy and management courses, per Baruch College.
In the midst of all the rumours, the star is celebrating the release of her new single “Joyride”, the first under her own label Kesha Records, and also her first since breaking away from the controversial Dr Luke’s label in December 2023.
