  • Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have dated for more than 4 years; the pair were spotted at the 2020 Super Bowl together – when Shakira and J.Lo performed – and went Instagram official soon after
  • Far from being in the music biz or a Hollywood type, however, Polansky is a key player in tech, attending Harvard with Mark Zuckerberg and having worked with the likes of Napster founder Sean Parker

Lady Gaga might have a really good romance on her hands, as the star sparked engagement rumours this week.

The 38-year-old “Bad Romance” singer, born Stefani Germanotta, was photographed sporting a diamond on her left ring finger on Sunday while out in West Hollywood, California.

The native New Yorker confirmed her relationship with tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky back in February 2020. If Gaga is set to walk down the aisle, this would be her third engagement.

Here’s everything we know about the tech exec.

Michael Polansky has worked in tech for over a decade

He attended Harvard at the same time as Mark Zuckerberg and, according to his LinkedIn, went on to work at Founders Fund, the venture capital firm founded by Peter Thiel, the first outside investor in Facebook.

Polansky later served as COO for Airtime – the secretive video-chat platform founded in 2011 by Napster founders Shawn Fanning and Sean Parker.

His latest project is called Outer Biosciences, a biotechnology research company looking for ways to improve health and beauty products for the skin.
