Actor Rob Lowe has just entered his seventh decade, but continues to astonish fans who believe he looks half his age.

 

The American actor, who celebrated his 60th birthday on March 17, told Forbes that he was excited to start his next chapter in life. “You know, when it came up, I was kind of dreading but now I’m really excited – I’m really, really into it. There are people that don’t make it to 60 and I have never felt stronger, better, healthier – spiritually, mentally, relationship-wise – and so, it’s just like bring it! Let’s keep the train rolling,” he told the publication.

Besides good genes, Lowe clearly has some healthy habits that have helped him keep up such a youthful appearance. Men’s Health even dubbed him a “real-life Dorian Gray” for his seemingly ever-present glow.

According to Business Insider, the Parks and Rec star has followed a low carb Atkins eating plan for years. Per the same source, he is also a spokesperson for the diet company, Atkins. “Everyone comes to the point sooner or later where you realise you can’t eat like you’re in college any more,” he told the publication. “I hadn’t realised it was a thing, but it changed my life.”
