What’s in Jeff Bezos’ multimillion-dollar property portfolio? He and fiancée Lauren Sánchez will move to Miami, where he has a mansion in Indian Creek, but he’s also splashed out in Hawaii, LA and NY

- Jeff Bezos owns two mansions on Indian Creek island, nicknamed ‘Billionaire Bunker’, an exclusive Miami neighbourhood that’s also home to ultra-rich individuals like Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner
- The billionaire e-commerce boss also has multiple apartments in a luxury Fifth Avenue condo building in New York, including its three-storey penthouse, and an estate on Maui, Hawaii
From starting an online bookstore in 1994 and growing a now multitrillion-dollar company, Jeff Bezos has stockpiled an impressive property portfolio worth millions along the way. Think luxury homes from Beverly Hills to Hawaii and now Miami. Here’s a look at his impressive property empire.
Miami: Indian Creek island
On November 3, Bezos told his 4.1 million-plus followers on Instagram that he would be leaving his long-time base of Seattle to move to Miami. He said he wanted to be near his parents, who now live in Miami, and his fiancée Lauren Sánchez would be joining him for the big move.

The purchase came just a few months after he dropped US$68 million on another luxury home in the island, per Bloomberg. The homes are next to each other.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home sits on 1.1 hectares (2.8 acres), and neighbours include Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
According to Town and Country magazine, Indian Creek island is a one square km (0.4 square mile) municipality about a 20-minute drive from Miami Beach. The development is gated, with its own police force and armed marine force that circles the development 24 hours a day. The privacy and number of residences (in 2022, there were only around 30) make the location a haven for the ultra-rich.
