With her poise, good looks, and circle of friends that reads like a who’s who of the fashion world’s “It” crowd, Kendall Jenner is often considered the ultimate cool girl.

But as with many celebrities, the glitz and glamour of Jenner’s life has come with its fair share of controversy. Over the years, fans have accused the model of possessing a “mean girl” persona.

In an episode of The Kardashians last year, Jenner hit back at the claims. “I think the one [misconception] that I guess hurts the most is that people think I’m a mean girl,” Jenner revealed. “Because that’s just not the case. It can be upsetting when someone is questioning your character … If only people knew me.”

In April, the 27-year-old uploaded a TikTok video and found herself at the centre of a heated controversy. The clip in question featured the reality TV star and her friends, including Hailey Bieber. They proceed to lip sync to an audio recording described by Pinkvilla as “catty”.
