Inside Hong Kong heiress Emily Lam-Ho’s fabulous life: the Empact28 founder attends Gucci fashion shows, shows off Chloé and Hermès bags, calls Michelle Yeoh ‘auntie’ and hangs with idol Jeon Somi
- Emily Lam-Ho is the daughter of Lai Sun Development mogul Peter Lam and Taiwanese actress-turned-painter Lynn Hsieh – but she’s also a budding fashionista and eco warrior who runs 8Shades and EcoDrive
- The mother-of-two enjoys holidays in Palawan, went skiing with Olympic champion Eileen Gu, is Instagram pals with Kathy Hilton, and met her ‘role model’ Stella McCartney earlier this year
Emily Lam-Ho is living proof that a girl can truly have it all.
“Having prominent parents is a double-edged sword,” Lam-Ho told us last year. “People do constantly compare me, but I think it’s important not to compare myself because they succeeded in their own right, whereas I’m paving my own road.”
Despite comparisons with her family, Lam-Ho’s dedication to her environmental mission sets her apart. Married to venture capitalist Kent Ho, son of former Sing Tao chairman Charles Ho, she spearheads Empact28, an investment platform supporting female-led start-ups, and other green initiatives, including 8Shades and EcoDrive.
Today, the 38-year-old gracefully balances green activism with an opulent lifestyle. Here’s a sneak peek inside the fabulous life of the heiress who’s made a name for herself.
