Anson Lo is arguably the most popular member of Hong Kong’s favourite Cantopop boy band Mirror – and perhaps one of the most prolific stars in the city too.
The pop star is celebrating his 28th birthday and his dedicated fans have once again pooled together and organised a number of birthday events for him. As part of the celebrations, The Anson Lo Fan Club (ALFC) announced that they have partnered with Star Ferry to offer free rides for all on July 7 between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central.
In return, Lo is rewarding his fans by releasing a dance version MV of his most recent single “Nah”, and judging by the teaser photo posted on Lo’s Instagram, his style chops are still very much intact.
As the Gen Z star turns a year older, we look back at some of our favourite looks of his over the years.
1. Denim-on-denim
Most recently, Lo gave his all-denim stage outfit a unique spin by layering a cropped distressed denim jacket over a simple tank top, paired with a pair of low waisted jeans that exposed the singer’s toned midriff. Lo accessorised the outfit by attaching a silver chain to his belt that tapered down and around his leg, adding a layer of texture to his look.
2. Laid-back in all black
During his down time, the “Money” singer opts out of the skin tight pants and heavy accessories for a simpler jumper and trousers combo, finding the sweet spot between comfort and class that many struggle to balance when it comes to airport fashion.
