Since announcing that they are expecting their first child together, singer-entrepreneur Rihanna and rapper-producer A$AP Rocky have made headlines even more than usual.
But while Fenty founder and newly minted Forbes billionaire Rihanna has been making jaws drop with her maternity fashion, her partner and baby daddy seems to be raising eyebrows for altogether different reasons.

As the power couple’s fans were still recovering from rumours of infidelity – which they debunked – A$AP Rocky shocked the world again when he got arrested at Los Angeles airport. However, the 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is no stranger to run-ins with the law. This high profile incident is just the latest in his string of legal controversies.

On April 20, A$AP Rocky landed at the Los Angeles International Airport after a romantic getaway with Rihanna in Barbados. Upon exiting a private plane, the Grammy-nominated singer was handcuffed by the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to police reports obtained by NBC News, this shocking arrest was in connection with a shooting incident in California in November 2021. Per TMZ, the police believe that A$AP Rocky shot a man during an argument and the bullet allegedly grazed the victim’s hand.

 

The Fashion Killa singer hasn’t released a statement yet, but he posted the US$550,000 bail. His next day in court is scheduled for August this year.
