The 27-year-old actress walked down the aisle with her father, turning heads in her beautiful yet simple Valentino couture wedding gown, complete with train and lace-trimmed veil. The gown was reportedly one year in the making and it involved multiple fittings in Rome and the United States for Nicola to achieve the perfection she had in mind.

In keeping with the pared-down style, Nicola accessorised her ensemble with lace gloves and a pair of diamond earrings of classic solitaire design. The earrings’ centre stones are of round brilliant cut said to be of at least 7 carats each. The earrings are estimated to be around US$1 million.

2. Victoria Beckham

Former Spice Girls member and fashion icon Victoria Beckham looked stunning in a custom metallic and lace slip dress from her eponymous fashion label. The groom’s mother made headlines for the necklace she paired with her outfit: a 21.5-carat pear-shaped diamond pendant mounted in platinum.

Crafted from an English chain, originally made circa 1870, the piece features a wild bee motif which leads to a fist symbol – also known as figa. The talisman symbol is known to protect its bearer and bring luck from its giver.

3. Claudia Heffner Peltz

The mother of the bride and former fashion model wore the ultimate statement jewellery to signify her family’s incredible wealth. Her jaw-dropping diamond jewellery set featured a Harry Winston necklace with a large pear-shaped diamond steeped in history. The 95-carat diamond, in D colour, is known as the “Star of the East”, once belonging to Abdülhamit II, former Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. It’s changed hands several times, from Cartier to King Farouk of Egypt in the 1950s.

The necklace was sold by Harry Winston in 1969, displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1978, and its mystery new owner was unknown – until now.

She wore the opulent centrepiece together with earrings of cascading diamond fringes. Highlighting the magnificent jewels, Claudia wore a custom strapless Versace gown in bold cobalt blue with some sequin detailing.

4. Brooklyn Beckham

Straying away from his typically edgy style, the groom proved that he can pull off a classic look when the occasion calls for it. He was outfitted by Dior’s menswear designer Kim Jones in an ultra-chic custom black wool peak lapel tailcoat, with straight-cut trousers and a white wingtip collar shirt.

Brooklyn added a sparkling personal touch with a diamond chain attached to the front of his evening jacket. Designed by Anita Ko, the diamond chain was a wedding present from his new in-laws, featuring multiple bezel-set emerald-cut diamonds.
