Claudia Conway was catapulted into the spotlight in June 2020 thanks to her social media videos blasting then-President Donald Trump as well as her conservative but politically opposed parents – mum Kellyanne Conway, then adviser to the president, and dad George, a vocal critic of Trump.

After revealing that she wanted to seek emancipation from her parents in the lead-up to the 2020 US presidential election, it was believed the teen’s influence could have had a significant impact on voters, despite her being too young to vote herself.

Kellyanne and George Conway quit

Their turbulent relationship with their daughter led to both parents quitting their respective jobs in September 2020 to spend more time with the family. But as evidenced by a reaction video to dad George’s withdrawal from the Lincoln Project – a conservative organisation working against Trump – it didn’t change Claudia’s feelings about her parents. The teen did seem to be shocked but claimed their decision to resign wasn’t genuine and was simply to put on a show for the public to appear as if they cared.
