It’s been less than two months since SM Entertainment’s new monster rookie group Aespa hit the scene, but these girls are already the talk of the town, even given the number of other K-pop bands set to debut this year. The team has already broken numerous records, including the record for the most-viewed debut K-pop music video in a 24-hour period, with debut single Black Mamba.

Among the band’s talented members is Winter (née Kim Min-jeong), whom fans have already started comparing to labelmate and former Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon.

She’s attracted attention from fans for her cute pre-debut photos
As the “visual” of the group, many fans have lauded the star for her stunning looks. Some have even likened her appearance to jaw-droppingly beautiful actresses So Yoo-jin and Yoon So-hee.
Fans were impressed by Winter’s natural good looks when pre-debut images of her were leaked in an online community. The user who posted the images theorised that it was because of this that she was scouted at a dance concert – and it so happened that she was also a good singer.
