Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Mark Zuckerberg all suffered stalkers – what happens when celebrity fans go too far?

When admiration verges into creepiness: one fan climbed a mountainside to take a dip in Kendall Jenner’s pool, an intruder was caught charging his phone in Rihanna’s home, and a guy sent Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg flowers and weird messages
Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is no stranger to obsessive fans. During her 14 years in the industry, she’s had her fair share of stalking incidents. In September 2019 a fan even broke into her Rhode Island home by scaling the wall – the third such attempt that summer, police said – then took off his shoes “to be polite”.
Swift recently opened up to Elle magazine about the multiple stalking incidents she’s experienced: “Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I’ve ever had online. You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things.”
Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner had her own brush with a stalker who was caught trespassing on her property thrice before he was caught and deported back to Canada. According to TMZ, he scaled the mountainside to gain access to her home and was even found taking a dip in her swimming pool.
Jenner spoke up about the incident, blaming the media for sharing her home address. In a tweet to TMZ, the model said, “And how do you guys think these terrifying people know where my house is? Cuz you release not only photos but my location. It is so beyond unsafe. Is this not our one ounce of privacy we can get???”
