Exo’s Xiumin and D.O, BTOB’s Minhyuk, 2pm’s Junho and Shinee’s Key and Minho ... 10 K-pop stars finishing military service in 2020-2021

Exo’s 2 members are expected to get straight back to the studio, while Junho’s band 2pm, on hiatus since 2017, have scored a viral hit with old tune My House while he was away – music fans can’t wait for the return of these 10 K-pop idols from South Korea’s compulsory military service, so who gets out when?
After the long wait of one and a half years, a platoon of K-pop stars are finally returning to civilian life – and hopefully our screens and stages – as they get discharged from the military. Here are 10 stars we’ve missed, fresh from the “front”.
BTOB’s Minhyuk

Minhyuk has completed his service, which started back in February 2019, and will finally be discharged on September 12. That will make him the third member of BTOB to complete military duty.
Shinee’s Key

Less than one month after Minhyuk’s discharge, Shinee’s Key will be back in circulation on October 7. As he is part of SM Entertainment, many K-pop stars such as Taeyeon, Yeri and BoA have visited him during his service. Even Park Na-Rae and Hyeri from Girl’s Day went to support him as they were all on the same TV programme, Amazing Saturday.
