Attention, Kim Soo-hyun fans: after being discharged from compulsory military duty, the star of My Love from the Star and Moon Embracing the Sun is finally back in TVN’s new romance series It's Okay to Not Be Okay – dropping on Netflix from June 20

For the past decade, Kim Soo-hyun has enjoyed an attention-grabbing career. The 32-year-old heartthrob starred as the lead in numerous hit dramas, snagged plenty of awards and stole our hearts along the way.

However, it’s compulsory for all South Korean men to enter military service before turning 29, and sadly for their fans, actors and K-pop idols are not exempt.

But now, after putting his career on hold for 20 months, Kim is making a comeback in upcoming TVN romantic fantasy drama I'm Psycho but it's Okay – better known in English as It's Okay to Not Be Okay  – which will air on Netflix from June 20.

His mantelpiece is filled with awards

Kim Soo-hyun is only 32 years old, but he’s already won four Baeksang Arts Awards for his work. At the ripe age of 24, he won best actor for Moon Embracing the Sun in 2012. Two years later, he snagged the awards for next actor in film, popular actor in film and popular male in TV for My Love from the Star and Secretly, Greatly. 

Pretty face = lots of product endorsements

Thanks to his dashing looks, he’s the king of product endorsements. In 2012, he set a record for being the face of 17 products simultaneously – earning him an astounding 6 billion won (US$5 million)!
