The King of Pop’s third child just turned 18, changed his name to Bigi and has a YouTube channel with his brother

His father’s estate cannot seem to sell, but Prince Michael “Blanket” Jackson II, who just turned 18, bought a multimillion dollar home in the swanky Los Angeles suburb Calabasas to celebrate. Although he has mostly kept out of the spotlight since the death of his father, the famous pop singer Michael Jackson, the youngest son has made headlines with his new starter home.

And what a starter home it is. According to the listing, the house spans 6,832 square feet, boasts six bedrooms, seven and a half baths and is situated in one of the most coveted neighbourhoods in Los Angeles. It was reportedly sold for a cool US$2.6 million.

But what else do we know about the youngest son of the late Michael Jackson, other than his sweet digs? And how does it feel being named after a bed cover?

His real name isn’t actually Blanket

His real name is Prince Michael Jackson II. In 2015, it was reported that Jackson no longer wished to be called by his nickname Blanket because of the bullying he faced growing up. Instead, he prefers to go by the name Bigi.

Curiously, his brother, Michael Joseph Jackson Jnr, goes by Prince, which is Bigi’s real first name.
