How Korea’s K-pop fans went wild for IU’s new Love Poem mini-album this week, with lead track Blueming topping the charts

Originally delayed following the death of Sulli, K-pop superstar IU has now unveiled her first new music of 2019, the six-track EP Love Poem – and the internet has gone wild
K-pop singer IU has swept all major music charts in South Korea – including Melon, Bugs and Genie – with her fifth mini-album “Love Poem”.
The album's s lead track Blueming led the charts within hours of its release on Monday (November 18), while the five other tracks – Love Poem, Unlucky, Above the Time, The Visitors and Lullaby – have also ranked in the top 10 of the charts.
IU is now on her “Love Poem” concert tour and has already performed in Busan, Gwangju and Incheon. The tour continues in Seoul at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on November 23.
