English actress who plays Sansa Stark, says filming the last few was an emotional roller coaster

English actress Sophie Turner, newly married to pop star Joe Jonas, has weathered a decade of untold savagery, destruction, and bloody battles as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones.

While audiences are on the edge of their living room couches awaiting the final episodes of the show, Turner is feeling a rush of optimism about her life and career after enduring some dark moments while growing up in the Game of Thrones world. Her close friend Maisie Williams (Anya Stark) has stood by her during the tough times and they often tease each other on Instagram.

Here is what Turner has to say about how she is dealing with the end of her Game of Thrones tenure.

1. The last few weeks were an emotional roller coaster

It was very emotional. I was lucky that on my last day I was surrounded by all of the cast members.

It’s been nearly a decade for me. The majority of my life. I’m still very much processing it. I still don’t accept that it’s done. I don’t think I will [absorb it all] until it’s next year and I’m not back in Belfast with my [GoT] family.
