HOW MUCH: HK$1.28 MILLION
: Italian glassmaking company De Majo has created an extraordinary piece of lighting - one of the world's asymmetrical chandeliers.
Designed by Francesco Dei Rossi and Roberto Assenza, Le Quattro Stagioni was inspired by composer Antonio Vivaldi's concerto . Every detail of the piece has been conceived on the basis of a year's four seasons - the two solstices, summer and winter, and the two equinoxes, spring and autumn.
At three metres tall and weighing 140kg, the asymmetric chandelier features four levels with six arms illuminating at each level. It is made up of 370 handmade Murano glass elements in striking colours covered with 24ct fine gold leaves.
What makes this chandelier stand out is the spiral rotation pattern, which helps create the asymmetrical shape. There are 72 light points, ensuring the chandelier will be a bright addition to any room.
