Chopard acquires luxury hotel at heart of Paris

Jewellery and watchmaker Chopard, as an official partner of the Cannes International Film Festival that redesigned the Palme d'Or, has adorned many megastars on the red carpet with dazzling bling. Now the group has expanded its business territory to hospitality by acquiring Union Hôtelière Parisienne - the company that owns the Hôtel de Vendôme in Paris.

Located at No1, Place Vendôme, the Pierre Perrin-designed Hôtel de Vendôme was opened in 1723. The five-star hotel is situated at the heart of Paris. Chopard's flagship boutique is on the ground floor.
