Golden Globes best dressed: Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez and Charlize Theron show how it’s done
A-listers made some of the strongest statements on the red carpet, giving young starlets a run for their money

At this year’s Golden Globes Awards some of the boldest red-carpet looks came courtesy of the biggest A-list stars, who outdid the young, up-and-coming celebrities with their adventurous and far from boring get-ups.
Gwyneth Paltrow, another red-carpet veteran, went sheer, showing off her toned midriff in a tulle creation from Fendi.

Cate Blanchett opted for a pleated dress from London-based Greek designer Mary Katrantzou, perhaps making a mild political statement about Brexit by showing her support for a London-based European designer who has been vocal about the negative repercussions that Brexit will have on the British fashion industry.
Charlize Theron, nominated for her role in Bombshell, went for a one-shoulder column gown from Dior, which was classic but stood out for its fluorescent green hue.
