David Aaron Joseph and his wife, Miriam Salat, launched jewellery label Bochic in New York in 2004. The designers come from very different backgrounds, with British-born Joseph's family running a renowned jewellery-manufacturing business in London while Salat gave up a career as a civil engineer to sell handmade pieces of jewellery on the streets of her Big Apple hometown. Their pieces have been a hit with the likes of Angelina Jolie, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, to name but a few, and this year sees the label extending its offerings to include clutches.
